Matthew 1: 18-24
“18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about[d]: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. 19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet[e] did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[f] because he will save his people from their sins.”22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[g] (which means “God with us”).24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. “
Here Mary was minding her business on the road to marriage. She was gifted with being the bearer of the world's most precious gift yet. We do not know if she was impregnated on the spot or if she had been carrying this gift for a while. We just know that the gift was placed on the inside of her.
There are so many benefits of a woman carrying a child in her womb. Women are natural nurturers especially at the moment of conception. The body instantly begins to provide food to this source of life. The support for the growth of the baby is dependent on the body that it is connected to. The heartbeat of the mother influences the heartbeat of the child inside of her. The body also protects everything surrounding the mother. There are also benefits for the mother. There is a certain strength that only a childbearing mother will accrue. Mama is being strengthened from the inside out. Women get stronger mentally, physically, and in this case spiritually .. all because of the gift God placed on the inside of them.
Now Joseph had the thought that we cannot blame him for. He went straight for divorce when he learned that his virgin wife was with a child. Joseph was scared of the form of the gift and the opinion of others. God went to Joseph on behalf of himself, Mary, and the gift brewing on the inside of her. God quickly put Joseph in alignment with the gift that his wife was now carrying. Although Mary was made aware of her gift she still had to endure the season of preparation. Unaware of the full capacity of her gift Mary still had to provide, shelter, and carry her gift until its delivery into the world. Mary was carrying salvation in the core of her body. This seed produced comfort before the conflict. Healing was delivered before the pain even started. Deliverance was brewing on the side of her before we had even been bound. The announcement of this unplanned pregnancy did not come with a user manual.

There is a gift brewing on the inside of you that will go against the normalities of life. This gift was made to be nurtured by you. You were made to feed and provide for this gift until it provides for you. It's building you from the inside out. Your body is changing because your gift is connected to the source. Your cravings in life are developing as your gift is expanding. Such a small seed may not seem to hold so much weight. You are in the season of preparation for something that not only saves you but others as well. Generational curses will shatter because of something God placed on the inside of you. Shackles that held our parents down have been broken because of something placed on the inside of us. This gift was made just for you! The exposure of this gift may cause you to lose some people. Everyone is not positioned to experience the capacity of your gift.
Keep moving.
Mary gave birth to the gift of Immanuel “God with us”. A gift that she was chosen to place on this earth. A gift that the world needed. The gift that saved her life and ours. The thing about bearing a gift from the inside of your body is that it knows a side of you that you will never experience yourself. You will never see the truest vulnerability that you have to offer because you are always on the outside. Deliver that gift and allow it to minister to you! Minister from places you didn’t know you needed. There will be no persuasion for others to believe in your gift. God will ensure that you reach those required for you to reach. God will give understanding to all those to that need to hear. He chose you! Welcome to bearing season... Your gift is on its way.
